Shaelee was in the Jr. Peach Queen pageant. She had so much fun dressing up like a princess. Thanks to Grandma Peggy for the beautiful princess dress! Grandma is a sucker for frills. Each girl received a crown and a necklace. I was so proud of her----she even smiled on stage! Her cousin Kayla gave her some flowers after the pageant....she was in heaven!!! She kept reminding me that they were her flowers and not mine. She was also in both parades. The first night she shared a seat by a friend of hers from church. The little girl kind of pushed Shae out of her seat by the "window". So, for the big parade on Saturday I told her not to sit by Milla so that we would be able to see her on the train. She said, "Ok mom, if Milla comes to sit by me I will tell her that you said that she couldn't sit by me!" Oh my.....thank goodness Milla wasn't there for the Saturday parade. Shae has also had an anxiety about Ronald McDonald---and guess who was following her in the parade? She said that it was ok cause he came and gave them all hi-fives.....seemed to make it all better!
