A couple of nights ago Shae and I had our mother-daughter night of painting each others nails. Shae had just finished my toes and had gone downstairs to watch her nightly episode of "Hannah Montana" when I heard her holler something about someone had puked down stairs. Well....anything to do with PUKE causes my sweet husband to RUN the other way, so I went downstairs to take care of the issue which ended up to have just been spilled melted ice cream. When I came back up my 13 month-old, who I swear is already experiencing terrible TWOs, had gotten a hold of the nail polish! He had it EVERYWHERE.....all over the floor, all over him, and had started to crawl through the spill on the floor. It was a MESS (sorry no picture....I was too unhappy to grab the camera!)!!!! After the excitement was over, Shae looked at me and said, "Whew, I am sure glad it was not ME who left the nailpolish there!!!"
Today she randomly told me that she didn't want to move. Then she said, "Well, can we just dig up the cherry tree and take it with us?" (She is a true tree climber and LOVES our cherry tree.)
Shae's first day of school was today. She was so excited! She even told me that she could just walk herself to school and that I didn't need to take her. After school I asked her how her day was. She said, "Mom, I thought you told me that my teacher was NICE! She didn't let us talk and we barely played!!!"
Oh, I love her so much! There is NEVER a dull moment! She now has bangs AGAIN. I tried to convince her that she didn't want bangs....its more that I am not very good at making them look good.
