Shaelee is a total shoe fanatic! She LOVES shoes. Well, yesterday she discovered that I too am a shoe fanatic and have LOTS of shoes. She has discovered that my high-heeled "hooker" boots (I have a black pair and a brown pair)----"fit" her and that she can feel quite fancy in them. (Dad is REALLY missing out on the clank of the boots that are a FEW sizes too big----much louder than the lovely plastic high-heels that he gripes about everytime they are worn in the kitchen!) All day yesterday she was walking around in my boots. She even managed to make it down the stairs---it took her five minutes and she kept repeating to me that she had to be careful because she didn't want to tumble down the stairs like she did that one time....which, I don't completely remember----but it must have happened because she said it did! However, being the Miss Gracie that she is.....she did manage to fall off the couch while wearing my boots---not sure how it happened but it did! She even woke up early for school today so that she would have time to wear my boots before she had to put hers on to go to school. And she proceeded to tell me, "Mom, now we can share shoes!" GREAT!
