Grandpa Glenn's Workshop was a special place,
Where he could fix any problem you faced.
From fixing bikes and repairing toys,
Hearing all the tools at work was a favorite noise!
But there were other things he could fix too,
like helping you with anything you needed to do.
He was a teacher, a mentor, a loving father and friend,
a hard-worker with a helping hand always to lend.
Grandpa Glenn never threw anything away,
he enjoyed making them work in the cheapest way!
He loved to remodel homes, making old look new,
an amazing handyman through and through!
His smile always constant on his face,
Willing to fix anything anytime, anywhere, and anyplace.
Grandpa Glenn loved his old tools the best
but the screwdrivers and flashlights passed the ultimate test!
Grandpa Glenn was invincible, or so we thought,
but cancer was the battle that he fought.
All his tools in his workshop couldn't fix it right,
and our precious Grandpa Glenn lost his fight.
Now he watches over us as we fix our own things,
and we are so proud to say he
has earned his Golden Handyman Wings!
There are many happy moments pleasant to recall,
but Grandpa Glenn in his workshop is the nicest one of all!

Thanks to Liz we were able to do the Festival of Trees in honor of my sweet dad this year. After a lot of preparation and eight hours of decorating, our tree looked awesome!!!! A cute little old man kept coming back to look at our tree and workbench. :) What a great experience to remember my dad during this difficult year after his passing. Also, how awesome to do something to support Primary Children's Hospital---which we are also eternally grateful for.
