Justin received the "Home Town Hero" award on Saturday. The awards assembly was held at the State Capital Rotunda. It was a neat experience. Shaelee was sick....running a fever and not feeling well and Jordan was his usually restless self, but it was neat to be there. They had a gift for each member of the family---Justin got a nice plaque, I got a pen and pencil set, and the kids each got a necklace. They really focused on the family and their appreciation of the family of the soldiers.
